Idaho IceWorld Skating School’s Learn to Compete program is returning for its 3rd year in 2025. This program is for all levels of skaters in Snowplow and Basic wanting to learn about skating competitively and develop a “Learn to Skate” compulsory program to compete in the 2025 Annual Boise Ice Classic at Idaho IceWorld April 25-27 (subject to change.)
Learn to Compete
All Idaho IceWorld Learn to Skate USA students are eligible to register for the Idaho IceWorld Learn to Compete team program. Participants must be enrolled in BOTH 2025 Jan/Feb and Mar/Apr Learn to Skate sessions and have a current Learn to Skate USA membership. A great opportunity to perfect the fundamentals of skating while learning to train for a competition in a fun, team environment.
Being a team member is a huge commitment of time and energy. Ensure that every practice is a top priority when scheduling your family activities. Each participant will be required to register for the competition and pay the registration fee for the competition (price TBD.) Boise Parks & Recreation Scholarships do not apply to the competition fees.
Participants are not required to compete. Please register for the last Learn to Skate level you passed not the one you are currently enrolled in.
